About James D. Domingo, President

Bridging cultures and cultivating business opportunities come as second nature for James. A 25-year veteran of international business, James spent 10 years living and working in Asia on multiple expat assignments and has strategically grown companies ranging from $10 million to over $1 billion in revenue.

Prior to launching The Domingo Group, James served as president Swagelok Japan where he developed an organization of over 350 associates while combining seven distributorships into a single corporate entity. He subsequently served on the board of directors, ensuring a successful start for the new company. His 20-year corporate career exposed James to a variety of roles including technical service engineer, product manager, technology center manager (Japan), business development manager, regional manager, and representative director / president (Japan).

James holds an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo. His language capabilities include fluency in Japanese, as well as conversational mandarin Chinese studied at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
